Description
Hemingway is our nod to Ernest Hemingway’s long, tangled connection with Michigan — from writing at old mahogany bar tops to escaping north for quiet summers. He loved cigars, he loved Cuba, and he loved this state, so the scent pulls from all of it. Coconut and Tobacco Leaf bring that warm, coastal edge, while Mahogany and Vanilla Bean round everything out with depth and softness. It’s the same blend used in our fragrance, Alpine Hair & Beard Oil, and lotion, making it one of our most versatile scents. This is our small homage to a writer who left his mark on Michigan, and to the places that shaped his best work.
Burn Time: 50 - 60 Hours
To ensure the best experience with your candles, we suggest trimming the wicks to approximately 1/4 inch. This practice not only extends the life of your candle but also helps to minimize soot production. Keeping the wick at this length will help prevent the flame from burning too high, allowing the candle to burn lower and more evenly. A well-maintained wick promotes a cleaner and more enjoyable burn, ensuring you can savor your candle's fragrance for longer.
Our candles are made with a clean‑burning soy wax blend and high‑quality fragrance oils. They’re completely vegan and free from phthalates, parabens, and carcinogenic ingredients.
Care
Follow the "Candle Care Instructions" card we provide with your purchase. Candles shouldn't be burned more than four hours at a time. The preferred burn time for candles is two hours. Candles shouldn't be left unattended. After each burn, trim your wicks to 1/4th inch from the top of the wax. We suggest using a candle coaster (sold here online) to protect your furniture.
